Rich Mendel is one of the best parts store countermen left. He deals with my odd ball requests on a daily basis and gets me what I need. A counterman like this is very hard to find these days. Anyway Rich is also a good friend of mine and has been through a few rods, his last two being a chopped 39 Chevy sedan and a nasty Chevy II.
